Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Class: Level I & II
$1,000.00
- Ten days training course is designed to give ( engineer/technician) trainees, the fundamentals of ultrasonic testing, specific requirements of codes/ standards in addition to hands-on ultrasonic equipment.
- Used for testing of engineering materials and products.
- Ultrasonic testing uses high sound pulses that are emitted from a transducer on the surface of a sample.
- Ultrasonic testing can be used on most materials if sound transmission is good.
- Ultrasonic testing is a nondestructive testing (NDT) method. Level I and II are 40 hours long each.
- The sound waves permiate through the sample, and reflect at interfaces.
- The waves that are reflected are monitored using a detector.
- This method can determine the type of flaw and depth. UT can also be used to determine the thickness of a sample.
- This method obtains quick, high sensitive results.
- Ultrasonic testing is a nondestructive testing (NDT) method. Level I and II are 40 hours long each.
- Each course is available for 90 days.
- Level I student will learn basic and principles of ultrasonic, which including frequency, velocity, and wavelength.
At the end of this course a certification exam will be administrated to determine the qualification of trainee to be certified to UT level I & Level II requibments of (ASNT) American Society for Non destructive Testing Recommended.
